Who We Are

Our website address is: https://newspath.live. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring your experience on our platform is secure and respectful.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized hash (a string created from your email address) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. You can find their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy.
Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from such images if available.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience—so you won’t have to re-enter details when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

  • If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
  • Upon login, we’ll set up cookies to save your login info and screen preferences. Login cookies last 2 days; screen option cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for 2 weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
  • If you edit or publish a post, another cookie is saved—no personal data, just the post ID. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other sites behaves just like a visit to that website.

These external sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content—especially if you’re logged in to those sites.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email to help prevent abuse.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This helps us recognize and auto-approve follow-up comments.

For users who register on our website (if any), we store the personal info they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information anytime (except usernames). Admins can also view and edit that data.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any info you’ve provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold.
This doesn’t include data we’re required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
